I am leaving Tokyo and I am on my way to Nara, the city of deer, I hope they like me!

The Shinkansen or bullet train is an ideal way to travel in Japan. The ride is very comfortable, punctual, and there always seems to be a train when you need one.

  1. I am always amazed by the transport system in Japan. So efficient! I was so surprised to learn when I was in Tokyo that some of the trains “split up” and different cars when to different places. Enjoy Nara Tiny Hippo, looking forward to your pictures there! (I didn’t have a chance to stop in Nara when I was last in Japan so I’m quite jealous!)

    • Yes, I was shocked by the fact that the trains would arrive 60 seconds before they departed, right on time. Nara will be great fun!
